Hi Everyone!

I know that we have been prety quiet lately. We are still here, we just have not posted much. There haven't been a lot of new chuck or uro happenings in our life. Our collection is beginning their breeding season, so hopefully we will have more news this season.

It occured to us that we never posted an introduction.

We are a Husband (Nick) & Wife (Austin) team of keepers. We have been keeping and breeding chuckwallas for 10 years, now. We have kept uromastyx on and off, over the years, as well. We enjoy taking the time to go on field trips, periodically, to collect some of our breeder stock of chuckwallas. The chuckwallas are our main focus, as far as desert lizards go. We have kept a lot of different varrieties of Sauromalus ater, as well as some of the island chucks. We also keep some collared lizards (Crotaphytus), though not as many species as we used to. Some other herps we keep are; ball pythons, poison dart frogs, and some various geckos.

Anyway, we hope to be posting a few updates soon, and becoming more active on the forum this season.

Hi there!

ive heard a lot about you! your reputation has followed you all the way to the UK lol. All good things i promise!
i would love to chat with you about chuckwalla care! i have two soon to be three of my own and plan to breed in the future once my babies are all grown up and ready for the messy business which is courtship! lol

how has the breeding season been for you?

My little guy Sol, at only five months old went a bit nuts with the territorial displays but its all over now and he seems much more relaxed for it!

Did you have much mating or is it still going on for you?

Really look forward to hearing from you! Great work with all your reptiles! May you have great luck this season and many more to come!
