Me and my family have the family mali who is male and named Gandalf the Great. He is almost three years old and is doing great.

Here is a great picture that my mom took.

Way cool, mom. It's awesome to see him grow up. It's funny, you don't even notice how much they change.

Gandolf looks like a girl - if it's 3years old w/ still that white of a belly and throat, in my experience it's a female - prob a male mimic. Recently, I've noticed as pointed out by Tom greb, that femes stay a cream white color on neck, throat, and back, and males are all black on throat and neck and or black w yellow on the belly.

I just noticed the black throat in the last few pics.. Still think that white belly is a female... :) do you have pics of his vent w tail curled up? I'm interested now to see if he is a male that still has a white belly..
