Hi i recently got a 6 month old saharan uro from a reptile expo on March 26th. He's been eating for a while then suddenly just stopped about 5 days ago. I know I have the correct temps and everything, but I just wanna know why he isnt eating, i love him dearly!
Thank you!!

That can be tough. The best thing to do is make sure all the temps and hides are ok. Then offer food daily near where he hides and then leave him alone. Uros are famous for getting stressed to the point of not eating. Try to minimize any stress and leave him alone. Hopefully he will start to eat again. Keep us posted.

We really can't help you much without any information....... When a lizard stops eating this can be caused by a lot of different reasons, most common are illness and stress.

So can you give some more info on:
How big is the cage, wat is it made off (all glass is more stressfull than a wooden cage), what are the temps (hotspot , hot side and cold side), what substrate do you use, What UVB bulb do you use, what are you feeding, how much are you handeling the uro, have you changed anything since you got him?
