Hi guys, Just made this topic so I could give some updates on these lizards. They are all eating a lot, and growing pretty fast they all doubled in weight since I got them:

14-03-2011 22-03-2011 11-04-2011 02-05-2011 27-05-2011
The biggest loricata: 87 gram 109 gram 117 gram 135 165 = + 30 gram
the middle loricata: 75 gram 89 gram 111 gram 135 149 = + 14 gram
the small loricata: 45 gram 57 gram 69 gram 85 104 = + 19 gram

I have meassured them and they are :

27-05-2011
The biggest loricata: 24 cm from nose to tailtip
the middle loricata: 24 cm
the small loricata: 20 cm

I'm really not sure on sex as they look different every week :) we will see, they really grow nicely and the bigger they get the more caracter the get. Only 1 is showing orange colours the other stay brownisch....

I will try to update with a few pics soon....

gr. Kamiel

Congratulations Kamiel,
Great acquisition, nice growrh rate. I would have trouble remembering to call them Saara not Uromastyx.
Do you know how big the parents are?

Hi Lindsay,

Yes you're right, I still do call the Uromastyx a lot, but now I usually only say loricata........

These young ones are from 2 different pairs and they were all about 50 cm big.

These young ones really grow fast, and really have a healthy appetite, so its nice to keep track on their growth rate.

Really happy with these!

gr. Kamiel
