I just adopted a couple of Uros from someone nearby. The previous owner said they were females, but I think they're males, given the presence of femoral pores on both of them.

Here's a few photos I took last night. Are these Malis? maybe something else?

She also said they were 3 yrs old. If true, wouldn't they be a little more colorful by now?

They look like female Mali's to me but it has been years since I have worked with Mail’s. They female Mali’s are typically are the drab tanish color like you have pictured. The male mali’s are the colorful ones.
Both will show some femoral pores but males have bigger more pronounced femoral pours. Also you have all 2 pictured in the same enclosure and male mali’s are very territorial and usually will fight another male in there cage.
Best way to sex them is to hold them in your hand right side up and curl there tail gently toward the ceiling and check there vent area for a V shape. Males have hemipenal bulges (V shape) and females are (flat) due to the lack of hemipenal bulges.

If you are on facebook.com Doug Dix has an excellent example of how to sex Uromastyx on his facebook.com page.

Yeah, I wasn't really going by coloration, because I've seen some pretty colorful females that one normally might suspect are males. And I wasn't totally sure if Malis take a few yrs to color up like other species.

I'll take a look for bulges at home and post my findings.

They do look very similair to a mali, and that's probably what they are. However, I will throw this out there. Our male mali has a very short, squatty tail in comparison to, say, the ornates, even in comparison to his body. These don't quite feature that in the same way, though this may be irrelevent.

Yes, malis certainly do. Our male when we first got him, was a very bland tan color, showing no hints of sex in it. Over the years, he has become darker, and even now he's still getting that way, and developing a yellow back. So, yours probably are a year away, or so from teling their sex by color.
