I thought I would share some pics too.....

I had both my female ornates lay eggs this year, 24 in total. All eggs hatched and the little ones are doing great. My second female even dubble clutched, but out of those 8 eggs only 4 are still in the incubator but they don't look half a good as her first clutch, but we will see......

Lets start at the beginning......

Well the ornates are out of hibernation and I have seen one of my females on her back a lot lately........ The other female seems to already have some eggs in her. They all did not lose any weight...

So lets hope this year will be as succesful for the ornates.....

Congrats Kamiel. I sure wish I could get my Saharans and Sudanese figured out. They don't seem to have any interest in mating. :(

Update:

Well found the first clutch yesterday 14 eggs and all look great.

They are in the incubator at 33 degrees Celcius.

The second female is still really fat, so she will probably follow within a week or 2.
