After nearly 4 months of waiting of the weather to be acceptable for safe shipping our new friends arrived today. It ended up being a 2.3 group of LTC Saharans. They were with their previous owner for 7 years. They have been housed together. They now live in 2 4X2X2 Showcase enclosures joined together with a 4 inch PVC pipe. They have already been moving about between the 2 enclosures using the tunnel. It is great to see them move all about. They seemed to have settled very quickly. We have seen a lot of mating behavior, with the 2 males doing their push-ups and head bobbing. One of the males was circling a female. They are very active.
In looking at 2 of the females, I am not positive they haven't already mated. I know they were brumated so anything is possible. Time will tell if any of the females are gravid or successful mating occurs. I have my fingers crossed.
I got photos of the males and one of the females. The other 2 were hiding or would not hold still when I had the camera out.
Male 1 (Triton)

Male 2 (Oberon)

A couple of the females. Do they look gravid to anyone??

Another female photo.
