Since you have seen chucks in the wild - have you ever seen them feeding? Any insects on their menu?

Actually, when I see chuckwallas in the wild.....I only watch them shortly. Perhaps, when I get some time, I can try and observe their habits. They are pretty common and I am always looking for uncommon rattlesnakes and gila monsters, so I don't spend much time with the chuckwallas. I will let you know what I find out later through my observations or I will talk to some of my friends who have observed them in the wild or keep them outdoors year round.

I think I told Tim before.....but you guys should check out www.azreptiles.com. There is a forum and you can probably ask/find out all kinds of information on chuckwallas. You can probably ask for pics and what people have observed in the wild.
