I'll be tossing up pics of my newly acquired male from time to time.

Today I was taking a break from outside and come in to see this guy with his hand raised. I thought it was hilarious and had to snap a picture. There are 2 other pics from last week.

I'll get some better pics of his color when I weigh him. The light in the cage kills the shot.

That's hysterical. "Pick me, pick me."

A few updated pics. I found that with the basking platform being so high my Uros never used it. Once I layed the bricks flat they started hiding under it. Seems they like to feel snug. I also dug the other hides into the substrate a bit to make them lower and everyday I find them under a new hide. The male used to only use the green stair case hide and the female only used to use the cave to the far right. Now they use each one.
Here are some pics of my fairly new female. The first passed away on me. This one is holding up strong.

I put my pair through a light brumation this winter. My male ended up gaining a few grams during the winter and the female lost only a few. I went to full food and lights on Feb. 7th and as of the 15th the male already gained 10grams and the female 5g. And they are still eating like no tomorrow. Not sure if I'll breed this season as the female is only 80 grams right now. If she hits 100 grams I might consider it but otherwise I'll just wait.
Some pics of the male from this weekend. The female was shy.
