Here we have my youngest, born Oct 2010, pretty chilled and hand feeds quite often :) look forward to seeing the colouration come through on this one, both parents yellow phase, so guess thats what i'll be getting :)

yeah, its ickle this one......measures a whopping 5.75 inch from snout to tail tip :lol:

Are you sure its a U.a.acanthinura as most are nigriventris over here in Europe.

I think Kamiel is probably right as you described the adults as yellow phase too. U a a don't usually have much color. Check out the Uromastyx acanthinurus nigriventris or moroccan uro part of the forum.

just wondered. i like the ides of having a uro but i prob wont. stick with the chucks and get some tortoises and turtles later on. the chucks are keeping me very busy lol

Hi peeps - ok an update on my ickle Uro.....

Debbie, where i bought it from and bred them has told me they are accanthinura accanthinura not nigreventris....makes no difference to me like, i just need to know 100% as i want to get more of this species to make a small group in years to come, and wouldnt want to start breeding accanthinura with nigreventris :oops:
