If the UTH functions as it's designed there is no risk. If it malfunctions and overheats there is. This is what I'm referring to. As for the wood combusting due to a single CHE, that's simply not a possibility as long as the CHE is set up properly. Since I'm currently not using a CHE I couldn't provide you with a surface temp of the wood directly above it, but the temp above the basking bulbs, which is higher, is right around 130f.

As for being argumentative, I don't feel you are at all :)
