Our group of saharans have settled and are doing very well. I am in the process of cutting their light time down for the winter for a psuedo brumation. They are all very active and are eating just fine. I have seen the below male head bobbing already. I have my fingers crossed that I can hatch some babies from them this year.

It seems they all have very bright colors this time of year.

I love the color of the uro you have pictured here. I'd like to get a baby that would turn out the color of yours. Can you get an idea how pretty and bright they'll be when they are young?

Thanks for the nice comments. He really fires up orange. As for knowing how much color a baby will have as an adult, I am not sure. Certainly males are the ones with the most colors. Both our boys fire up very bright orange. I have my fingers crossed we will get fertile eggs this spring.
